Having just rung in the New Year at Auma Villa by Prasi, I can't recommend this gem in Ubud enough! Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, it boasts a cozy, serene atmosphere that feels like your own island retreat. The big comfy bed in our apartment was heavenly after a day exploring nearby waterfalls, and the open shower had an enchanting touch-watching the little gekos scurry around made it feel like we were truly one with nature. A highlight has to be the breakfast; made fresh daily, it was the perfect fuel for our adventures. We also loved lounging by the large pool, which was ideal for unwinding with friends. As a marine biologist and scuba instructor, I appreciated the sustainable vibe of the villa, and the warmth of the staff made our stay that much more enjoyable-shoutout to the lovely ladies at the reception who always greeted us with their beautiful smiles! Despite being a bit far from Ubud center, the tranquility of the villa was well worth it. If you're seeking a magical escape, Auma Villa by Prasi is definitely where you should be!
